Aged in oak for a total of 20 months:
12 months in French oak , and 8 months in Russian oak barrels. 24
months of rounding in the bottle prior to release.
Intense cherry color with tile-red hues. Exhibits fruit (blackberry)
and floral (violets) aromas combined with spices and liquorice.
Intense flavors of mature black fruit, figs, chocolate and spice
(clove, cinnamon, black pepper) and a flash of minerality from our
vineyard’s mix of frank clay, alluvial and sandy soils.
Hearty winter stews, grilled and barbecued meats (lamb, pork).
